For the entrepreneurs and leaders building something powerful — without wanting to lose themselves in the process.

"The question is not just, 'What are you building?' The deeper question is: Who are you becoming while you build it?"

The Grounded CEO is a conversation-based TV show hosted by Shayna Renée — for Black entrepreneurs, executives, founders, and visionaries navigating the real tension between success, identity, relationships, wellness, faith, family, and inner alignment.

  WHY THIS SHOW EXISTS

Because success should not cost you your peace.

So many entrepreneurs and leaders are carrying pressure no one sees. They are growing businesses, managing teams, raising families, navigating relationships, making money decisions, holding communities — and still trying to become the fullest version of themselves.

From the outside, they look capable. Inside, they may be exhausted, disconnected, overextended, or quietly wondering how long they can keep moving this way.

The Grounded CEO exists because what happens inside the entrepreneur does not stay inside the entrepreneur. It affects the business. It affects the team. It affects the body. It affects the relationships. It affects the home.

This show creates space for the conversations most leadership rooms skip — the ones about grief, capacity, control, loss, faith, ambition, rest, empathy, identity, and the inner work required to build something that can actually last.

  WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

We are not just talking about business growth.
We are talking about becoming whole enough to hold it.

  SEASON 1

Real conversations for the real tensions entrepreneurs carry.

Season One opens with a powerful question: What does it mean to be a Grounded CEO?

Ambition vs. Stability

Can you be both ambitious and regulated — or does success require instability?

Attachment vs. Evolution

How do you let go of something that worked, but no longer fits?

Devotion vs. Division

How do you show up for your family and your business when both truly need you?

Humanity vs. Survival

What does empathy cost in spaces that do not reward it?

Control vs. Collapse

When everything changes, do you rebuild what was or become someone new?

Logic vs. Reality

What happens when the "right" strategy cannot meet your actual capacity?

Perception vs. Reality

What do you do when it looked good on the outside, but felt chaotic within?

Metrics vs. Meaning

How do you know if you are actually successful when success looks good on paper, but terrible on you?

Every episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and ask: What would change if I led from a more grounded place?

  WHO THIS SHOW IS FOR

This is for you if…

  • You are building a business, brand, family, team, or legacy — and you are realizing that how you lead matters just as much as what you build.

  • You are successful, but tired of performing like success never costs anything.

  • You are ambitious, but you no longer want your ambition to be fueled by survival.

  • You are making decisions that affect other people, and you need space to hear yourself clearly.

  • You are a Black woman leader carrying more than people know.

  • You are a Black man navigating the tension between strength, empathy, provision, and being fully human.

  • You are an entrepreneur, executive, creative, founder, parent, partner, or visionary who knows that the next level cannot require self-abandonment.
